Flavor Experience

The cup opens with ripe apricot sweetness, soft and juicy.
Mid-palate deepens into the rich, rounded character of dried dates, layered with warm brown sugar.

As it cools, gentle chamomile florals emerge, bringing a calming elegance.
The finish is lifted by a subtle lime brightness, clean and refreshing without sharpness.

FAQs

How fresh is my coffee when it arrives?

Your coffee is roasted to order and shipped within 24 hours of roasting. We never roast in advance or keep inventory sitting on shelves. This means your coffee arrives at peak freshness, typically 2-5 days from roasting depending on your location. For the best flavor experience, we recommend using your coffee within 2-4 weeks of the roast date.

Should I order whole beans or ground coffee?

We recommend ordering whole beans for maximum freshness and flavor, as coffee begins to lose its optimal taste within minutes of grinding. However, we're happy to grind your coffee to order for your preferred brewing method. Just select your grind size at checkout:

  • Whole Bean (recommended)
  • Coarse (French Press, Cold Brew)
  • Medium (Drip, Pour Over)
  • Fine (Espresso, Moka Pot)

What makes your coffee different from grocery store coffee?

Our coffee is specialty-grade (85+ points), single origin, and roasted by SCA-certified professionals. Unlike grocery store coffee that sits on shelves for weeks or months, your coffee is roasted specifically for your order and shipped within 24 hours. We source 100% organic, fair-trade beans with no artificial flavors or additives - just pure, exceptional coffee that showcases each origin's unique characteristics.

Peru | Warmikuna

Women-Produced Coffee Beans from Peru

The name Warmikuna means ´women´ in Qechua, one of Peru´s oldest languages. In 2010, a handful of women coffee producers joined our Volcafe Way cluster in Junin´s coffee growing region. Twelve years later, the Warmikuna cluster was born. Today, it is comprised of 55 thriving women who have followed Volcafe Way agronomic standards and have demonstrated a leading role in the coffee business.

Six business model farms are currently spearheading the profitable sustainability and regenerative practices. These farms act as showcases through which other producers can see proper technical training in action. Through their efforts, a highly traceable and empowering coffee like this can exist. With notes of brown sugar, caramel, dark chocolate, and dried fruit, Warmikuna Women’s Coffee evokes warmth and sweetness in every cup.

Peruvian Coffee Destination | Junin

Junin is one of Peru’s most biodiverse regions and the bridge between the Andes mountain range and Amazon rainforest. The coffee-producing department connects several habitats and allows vast cultural and natural wealth to coexist.
